Drukair Reintroduces Guwahati-Bangkok Route
Dhaka: Drukair - Royal Bhutan Airlines has reintroduced its Guwahati-Bangkok route, operating the inaugural flight on Thursday, April 2, reconnecting the two destinations with a twice-weekly service.
To mark the occasion, a cake-cutting ceremony was held at Guwahati Airport, attended by the Deputy Commandant of CISF, the Chief Immigration Officer, the Terminal Head of Adani, and station managers of various airlines.
Departing passengers were welcomed with khadars, postcards, and goody bags containing badges, cookies, and souvenirs as part of the airline's hospitality gesture.
Paro-based Bhutanese flag carrier Drukair currently operates flights on 20 routes to 15 destinations in 7 countries across the Middle East and South and Southeast Asia with a fleet size of five, comprising one ATR 42-600, one Airbus A320neo, and three Airbus A319s.
