Rain, Thunder Reported In Several Parts Of Qatar: QMD

Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Meteorology Department reported that rain was observed in several parts of the country on Monday, with thundery conditions at times.
In a video post on X, the department said heavy rains were recorded in places like Mesaieed, Bin Omran and Mamoura.
Latest weather images released by the department showed thunder cells across the country, observing fresh to strong winds affecting several areas of the country, with weather conditions varying in intensity and maybe accompanied by strong down drafts and hail.
The Qatar Meteorology Department advised residents and motorists to exercise caution, particularly during periods of strong winds and potential thunderstorms, noting that conditions remain subject to change as the weather system continues to develop.
