(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)
Amman, March 12 (Petra) -- The Ministry of Investment on Thursday launched a new investment project, inviting qualified companies and specialized consortiums to participate in the Request for Qualification (RFQ) process for the Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Reduction Project in southern Amman and southeastern Amman.
The project, which falls under the National Water Strategy, aims to reduce non-revenue water and improve the efficiency of water services and the operation of distribution networks in the targeted areas.
According to the ministry's Public-Private Partnership Unit, the project will be implemented through a performance-based contract in Amman Governorate in cooperation with the Water Authority of Jordan and Miyahuna.
The ministry said it is seeking to select a private-sector operator to contract with the Water Authority of Jordan for implementation of the project through a transparent and competitive procurement process, in line with Public-Private Partnership Law No. 19 of 2023 and international best practices.
The procurement process will be carried out in two stages. The first stage involves the RFQ process, during which interested parties are invited to submit their qualifications for shortlisting. In the second stage, only shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit technical and financial proposals under the Request for Proposals process.
Interested parties may obtain the RFQ documents by contacting [...] and using the subject line: "NRW PBC RFQ Documents."
Applications for qualification must be submitted in person to the Public-Private Partnership Unit at the Ministry of Investment, 2nd Floor, Fifth Circle, Al-Kindi Street, Building No. 36-A, Amman, Jordan, with an electronic copy also required in accordance with the RFQ instructions.
The deadline for submitting qualification applications is Thursday, April 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Amman local time. The same email address may be used for inquiries.
