Body Of Missing 13-Year-Old Boy Found In South Waziristan, Locals Stage Protest

A tragic incident in the Tanai area of Wana, South Waziristan, has created an atmosphere of deep grief and concern in the region. The body of a 13-year-old boy, Imran, was recovered from a mountainous area in Tanai.

According to reports, Imran had gone towards the hills two days ago in the evening to look for his livestock but did not return home until late at night.

His family began searching for him the next morning, and after some time his body was found in the mountainous area.

Sources say that the victim's hands were tied and signs of torture were found on his body.

Following the incident, local residents and the victim's relatives staged a peaceful protest in Tanai, demanding that the government arrest those involved in Imran's murder as soon as possible and take legal action against them.

The family stated that they have no personal enmity with anyone and are waiting for justice.

The SHO of Tanai police station, Usman, condemned the incident and said the police are investigating all aspects of the case and an FIR has been registered. He added that those involved will soon be arrested and brought to justice.

Political and social circles also expressed sorrow over the incident. Former provincial assembly candidate Taj Muhammad said the incident has caused serious concern throughout the area and the government should take effective measures to prevent such occurrences.

Citizens and the victim's relatives participating in the protest demanded strict punishment for those responsible, so that law and order can be ensured in society and such incidents can be prevented in the future.
