SÃO PAULO - Latin America-focused agency Sherlock Communications has appointed veteran communications leader Paul Cockerton to its board as a non-executive director, part of a broader expansion of the firm's leadership structure.
London-based Cockerton brings more than 30 years of experience across agency and in-house roles. According to the company, he joins at a pivotal moment as Sherlock looks to optimize its structure for the next stage of growth, with a focus on strengthening value, reputation and performance.
Cockerton previously served as chief operations officer at Viv and managing director and CPO at Clarity. He also co-founded Dynamo PR and currently runs an executive consultancy focused on high-growth companies.
His appointment comes alongside the promotion of Bianca Boucault, Maria Amelia Costa and Patricia Zylberman to managing director roles. The three will operate under a shared leadership model and serve on the agency's group management board.
The four new appointees are also in the process of joining the agency's managing partners, Alasdair Townsend and Patrick O'Neill, on the board of directors.
