FM, Djiboutian Counterpart Discuss Regional Escalation, Condemn Iranian Attacks

Amman, March 5 (Petra)-- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi received a phone call today from Djibouti's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Government Spokesperson, Abdulkader Hussein Omar.
The two ministers reviewed the dangerous escalation unfolding in the region and explored ways to de-escalate tensions, restore calm, and reaffirm diplomacy as the path to ensuring security and stability.
Safadi reiterated Jordan's condemnation of the Iranian attacks against the Kingdom and its Gulf Arab neighbors, describing them as unjustified acts of aggression and blatant violations of international law and state sovereignty.
Minister Omar expressed Djibouti's solidarity with Jordan in confronting these Iranian assaults.
