Security Threat Level Elevated, Remain Indoors Warns MOI

Doha, Qatar: In an National Emergency Alert sent out to all phones, Qatar called on individuals to stay indoors warning that the security threat level is elevated.

"The security threat level is elevated. Everyone is required to remain indoors, refrain from going out and stay away from windows and exposed areas, in order to ensure public safety."

The National Emergency Alert was sent out today, March 5, 2026, as Iranian missile attacks continue in the country. In an earlier statement today, the Ministry of Defense stated that "State of Qatar has been subjected to a missile attack", and its "Air Defense systems are intercepting the missile attack."
