War Update: 48 Clashes Reported Since Dawn, Huliaipole And Pokrovsk Fronts See Fiercest Fighting

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, providing operational information as of 16:00 on Wednesday, March 4.

"Since the beginning of the day, the number of enemy attacks has already reached 48," the statement reads.

According to the General Staff, shelling continues in border areas. Today, the settlements of Bezsalivka, Tovstodubove, Volfyne, Korenok, Budky, Iskryskivshchyna, Manukhivka, and Sosnivka in the Sumy region were hit.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, the enemy carried out 80 shelling attacks on settlements and Ukrainian positions, including two airstrikes using five guided aerial bombs. Two combat clashes were recorded.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, the enemy attacked once toward the settlement of Hrafske. Attempts to advance further have not been observed.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy attempted to advanced twice toward Pishchane and Kurylivka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled three attempts by the Russian invaders to advance toward Drobysheve, Zarichne, and Stavky.

In the Sloviansk sector, Russian forces tried three times to advance on Ukrainian positions near Dronivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy attacked three times toward Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bondarne, and Mykolaivka. One attack is still ongoing.

In the Kostiantynivka sector, the Russian invaders carried out eight offensive actions near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, since dawn, the Russians have tried ten times to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, and toward Chervonyi Lyman. Four clashes are still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked four times toward Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Novohryhorivka, and Zelenyi Hai. One clash is ongoing. Additionally, Oleksandrohrad, Havrylivka, Kolomyitsi, and Pysantsi were hit by airstrikes.

In the Huliaipole sector, 12 attacks occurred near Huliaipole and toward Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, and Myrne. The enemy carried out airstrikes near Vozdvyzhivka, Hirke, Rivne, Huliaipilske, and Charivne. Three clashes are still ongoing.

No active enemy offensive actions were recorded in the Orikhiv sector.

In the Prydniprovske sector, Russian forces attacked near the Antonivskyi bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.

In other sectors of the front, the situation remains largely unchanged, as no enemy advances have been observed.

As reported by Ukrinform, fighting is ongoing in the eastern part of Hryshyne in the Donetsk region, with Russian forces attempting to advance toward the central areas of the village.
