King Abdullah Holds Talks on Regional Tensions with Egyptian President
(MENAFN) His Majesty King Abdullah of Jordan held a series of phone calls with Arab and world leaders on Saturday to discuss the escalating dangers in the region, as stated by reports.
During a call with Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, the King reiterated his condemnation of attacks on Jordanian territory, emphasizing that Jordan will continue taking all measures to safeguard its security, stability, and the well-being of its citizens. In a separate call with United Arab Emirates President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Majesty discussed the ongoing regional threats. The two leaders reiterated their condemnation of attacks on Jordan, the UAE, and other Arab countries, describing them as a dangerous escalation and violation of international law. They also emphasized the need to pursue dialogue and diplomatic solutions to achieve comprehensive calm.
His Majesty also spoke with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, discussing the current developments in the region.
