Kelly Jones
- Associate Professor of Pediatric Neuropsychology, Auckland University of Technology
Kelly Jones is an Associate Professor in the School of Community and Public Health at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT). She has extensive expertise in developmental psychology, neuropsychology, and population-based research into traumatic brain injury. She holds a PhD in Developmental Psychology from the University of Canterbury, complemented by an MA in Psychology (Distinction) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Practice. Her academic career spans over two decades, including roles as Senior Lecturer and Senior Research Fellow at AUT, and research positions at leading institutions such as the Liggins Institute and University of Canterbury. Kelly is a registered psychologist and has contributed significantly to health research, leading programmes focused on brain injury, stroke and child development. She holds memberships in numerous national and international professional bodies, such as the International Neuropsychological Society and the Global Burden of Disease Expert Panel. Her leadership roles include Vice-President of Brain Injury New Zealand and past Chairperson of Brain Injury Waikato, reflecting her commitment to advancing clinical research and improving outcomes for children and adults affected by brain injury.
