I am an Earth Scientist who works at the interface between Earth's surface processes, sedimentology and stratigraphy. To date, my research aims to understand how periodic, singular and abrupt signals of environmental change propagate across landscapes and into strata. In particular, I am interested in how natural internal system dynamics can modify and obscure signals of environmental change pre and post-permanent storage in physical environmental archives such as strata.
