Advocate for Gender-Based Violence Prevention along with Policy and Court Reform
I'm committed to addressing gender-based violence through rigorous research, advocacy, policy and law reform. My work focuses on critical issues such as intimate partner violence, systemic court reforms for sexual assault trials, and the development of trauma-informed practices.
Key Focus Areas
*Gender-Based Violence: Conducting in-depth research to illuminate systemic barriers and advocate for victim-centred solutions.
*Court Reform: Collaborating on initiatives to make sexual assault trials fairer, victim-centred, trauma-informed and culturally safe.
*Policy Advocacy: Engaging with legislators and stakeholders to advance policies that prioritise survivor well-being and justice.
Vision
I am driven by the belief that research and practical application must go hand in hand to create a legal system that is trauma-informed, culturally safe and survivor-focused. My goal is to amplify the voices of those affected by gender-based violence to inspire transformative policy and practice, leading to a safer, more equitable society.
