FM: Jordan Will Not Be Battleground Or Launching Pad Against Iran

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) AMMAN, Feb 2 (KUNA) -- Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi affirmed on Monday that his country will not be a battleground in any regional conflict or a launching pad for any military action against Iran.
The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release that Minister Safadi and his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araqchi, discussed on a phone call regional developments and the latest developments related to the Iranian nuclear program.
Safadi emphasized Jordan's firm stance against any violations of state sovereignty and underscored the necessity of respecting international law.
The Iranian minister commended Jordan's positions and efforts in promoting security and stability across the region.
