Türkiye’s Aselsan Signs Asia-Pacific Defense Export Agreement
(MENAFN) Türkiye’s leading defense manufacturer Aselsan announced on Monday that it has finalized a global export contract valued at $171 million with an undisclosed operator based in the Asia-Pacific area.
According to a notice shared via “Türkiye’s Public Disclosure Platform (KAP),” the agreement covers the overseas delivery of advanced communications technologies and mission payloads designed for unmanned surface vessels. The company did not reveal the identity of the purchasing party.
Based in Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, Aselsan was established in 1975 and has since expanded into one of the nation’s most prominent defense enterprises. Over the years, it has earned a place among the world’s top 50 companies operating in the defense sector.
