DTEK: Desnianskyi District Faces Most Difficult Situation With Power And Heating In Kyiv
"When power returns after outages, many residents switch on electric heaters at the same time. Networks damaged by shelling take on the role of heating devices they were not designed for. When powerful appliances operate simultaneously in every apartment, new accidents occur. As a result, the restoration of power is delayed even further," DTEK said.
Kyiv residents are urged to reduce the load on the networks by not turning on powerful electrical appliances at the same time and to use them alternately.
