Kuwait, Bahrain Seek To Enhance Health Cooperation

MANAMA, Jan 17 (KUNA) -- Chairman of Bahrain's Supreme Council of Health (SCH) Dr. Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received a Kuwaiti delegation, led by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mutariri, in Manama on Sunday.
The meeting, which gathered Bahraini Minister of Health Dr. Jaleela bint Sayed Jawad Hassan, explored ways for promoting cooperation in the areas of healthcare.
Both sides exchanged views on their respective successes in medical and healthcare services with a view to achieving integration among the institutions of the sisterly countries.
During his visit, Dr. Al-Mutairi, accompanied by Undersecretary of the Bahraini Ministry of Health Dr. Lu'lua Shuwaiter, visited the National Bank of Bahrain's Multiple Sclerosis Center where he was briefed on the quality of medical and rehabilitating services being provided to patients. (end)
