IDF gets ordered to prepare for possible simultaneous war on all fronts

(MENAFN) The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have been directed to prepare for potential simultaneous conflicts with Iran, Lebanon, and the West Bank, as reported by Israeli media. Plans reportedly include a possible “explosive operation” against Tehran, which is experiencing widespread protests over the rising cost of living that have received support from Israeli sources.

These preparations are part of a four-year strategy led by IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and reportedly involve building capabilities to strike both satellites and ground targets from space.

Officials in West Jerusalem anticipate that Iran may act against Israel to maintain internal control amid mounting public unrest.

While Israel has avoided officially commenting on the protests, intelligence agency Mossad has publicly shown support for demonstrators and claims to have agents embedded in the demonstrations. The unrest, sparked in late December by severe inflation and an ongoing economic crisis, has spread rapidly across multiple cities, leading to clashes with authorities and some calls for the reinstatement of the monarchy ousted in 1979.

US President Donald Trump has issued warnings of potential military intervention, stating on Truth Social that the US is “locked and loaded and ready to go” if Iranian forces target peaceful protesters. Earlier, Trump threatened to support airstrikes against Iran if its ballistic missile program escalates and last June authorized joint US-Israeli strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, which Tehran condemned as unprovoked.
