Trump Shares Story Behind His Hand Bruising

(MENAFN) US President Donald Trump disclosed that he consumes a larger than typically advised daily amount of aspirin, attributing the medication to the visible discoloration on his hands.

This revelation has fueled ongoing discussion in American media circles in recent months.

He shared these remarks during an interview with a media outlet released on Thursday.
“They say aspirin is good for thinning out the blood, and I don’t want thick blood pouring through my heart,” Trump stated. “I want nice, thin blood pouring through my heart. Does that make sense?”

According to the outlet, Trump ingests 325 milligrams of aspirin each day for “cardiac prevention,” as confirmed by his personal doctor, Sean Barbabella. The publication noted, referencing the Mayo Clinic, that a smaller dose of 81mg is most commonly prescribed.

The American leader mentioned that he rejected advice to reduce the amount, clarifying that he has maintained this routine for 25 years and is “a little superstitious.”

A report provided by the White House, based on Mayo Clinic evaluation, estimated Trump’s cardiac age to be equivalent to that of a 65-year-old, the outlet reported.
