Strategic Outlook For Russians In Water Area Does Not Improve - Pletenchuk

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was announced on television by Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk.

"The strategic outlook for our enemy is definitely not improving, because the waters are effectively blocked. They cannot and do not want to bring in new units; more precisely, they can technically, but they have withdrawn their last units. This means that the ship and boat fleet remains the same as it is now, and it has no prospects for further adequate presence here," he said.

Pletenchuk noted that any stop of an enemy ship in the docks for maintenance will make it an easy target.

“Aviation is still present. You can see that at the end of the year, they lost several units in Crimea. And this is also their perennial problem, that they still have to be fairly close to us to operate in the same waters,” he said.

Pletenchuk added that at the end of the year, the Russians increased the number of strikes on civilian ships.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian military attacked the ships Emmakris III and Captain Karam, which were entering the port to load wheat, with UCAVs, and civilians were wounded.
