Ambassador Praises Growing Italy-Qatar Partnership On Qatar National Day

DOHA: Italian Ambassador to Qatar, H E Paolo Toschi, has praised the strong and evolving partnership between Italy and Qatar, highlighting growing cooperation in investment, innovation, and advanced technologies. The ambassador reaffirmed Italy's commitment to deepening bilateral ties and supporting Qatar's vision for sustainable growth and global engagement

“Qatar National Day is a meaningful occasion that celebrates the country's unity, identity, and vision for the future. For Italy it is an opportunity to reaffirm the strong and dynamic partnership that binds our two countries, built on mutual trust, shared values, and a forward-looking approach,” he said in a message issued on the occasion of Qatar National Day.

“Italy and Qatar enjoy an excellent relationship that continues to grow, particularly in the areas of investment, innovation and advanced technologies. Italian companies continue to provide their expertise in energy, defence, infrastructure, engineering, manufacturing and sustainable solutions.

“Looking at 2026, major international platforms hosted in Qatar will further strengthen bilateral cooperation. Events such as DIMDEX, Web Summit Qatar and LNG2026 will offer opportunities to build new partnerships.”

The ambassador added:“On Qatar National Day, we look at the future with confidence. Italy is committed to continue working closely with Qatar to enhance economic cooperation, promote sustainable growth and contribute together to regional and global stability.”
