Al Waha Motors Opens New Mhero Showroom

Doha, Qatar: Al Waha Motors, the authorized distributor of MHero in Qatar, announced the opening of its new MHero showroom on Al Salwa Road. The new showroom marks a significant milestone in Al Waha's partnership with the Chinese manufacturer Dongfeng.

To commemorate the occasion, Al Waha Motors hosted an exclusive event attended by executives, key partners and clients. The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a guided showroom tour, offering guests a first-hand look at the showroom's advanced features and services.

Al Waha motors has placed MHero in the spotlight yet again by launching the all-new M-Hero M817, a next generation full-size SUV designed specifically to meet GCC specifications.

Addressing the gathering, Hamza Al Qatami, Product Manager at Al Waha Motors, said:“The new showroom marks an important step in our strategy to diversify our products amid growing demand for advanced, capable, and luxurious vehicles in Qatar. This launch reflects our commitment to technologies that combine durability with high performance, particularly for customers who value off-road capability or seek vehicles that strike the perfect balance of style, comfort, and performance”.

During the event, Zhang Si, Qatar Country Manager of Dongfeng Motor Industry Import and Export stated that MHERO II represents the next generation of luxury electric off-road vehicles, built around all-domain accessibility and all-dimensional safety. He added:” We are proud to bring MHERO II to Qatar and invite everyone to experience its capabilities firsthand”.

MHero specifications

Featuring an advanced hybrid/EREV powertrain with 677 horsepower, the Mhero M817 comes equipped with multiple terrain modes for sand, rock, mud, and snow, a fully digital cockpit anchored by a large central touchscreen, a 360° surround‐view camera, lane‐keeping assist, blind‐spot monitoring, and intelligent parking assistance. The interior includes leather seats with heating and electric adjustment, wireless charging pads, a panoramic sunroof, dynamic ambient lighting, and a high‐end 18‐speaker sound system.

Al Waha Motors is offering a 6-year or 200,000-km warranty, reflecting the company's emphasis on reliability and after-sales support.
