LONDON, Dec 12 (KUNA) -- The Roman Baths, built in the city of Bath in southwest England nearly 2000 years ago, stand today as a remarkable masterpiece of ancient engineering and a major tourist attraction that includes the most renowned natural hot spring in the British Isles.
Constructed by the Romans for therapeutic bathing, the site channels water rising from a depth of 3,000 meters. The spring is rich in 43 mineral elements and flows at a rate of 1.25 million liters per day, with a constant temperature of 46.5 degrees Celsius.
