Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau met today with Bolivian Foreign Minister Fernando Aramayo in Washington, D.C. The Deputy Secretary underscored the United States' commitment to supporting Bolivia as our bilateral relationship enters a new phase. Deputy Secretary Landau also commended the Paz Administration's efforts to promote economic stability, strengthen commercial ties with the United States, and realign Bolivia's foreign relationships towards democratic allies that are committed to Bolivia's prosperity.
