Turkish Airlines Reports Strong Passenger, Cargo Growth
(MENAFN) Türkiye's national airline, Turkish Airlines, transported 8.4% more travelers from January to November this year compared to the same timeframe last year, reaching a total of 85.3 million passengers.
The carrier reported that "international-to-international transfer passengers" increased by 12.8% year-on-year, totaling 32.5 million during the January-November period, according to the airline on Tuesday.
For the same period, the overall passenger load factor stood at 83.2%.
The international passenger load factor was recorded at 82.9%, while the domestic load factor reached 86.3%.
In addition, the airline's combined cargo and mail volume grew by 7.6%, rising from 1.8 million tons in 2024 to 2 million tons by the end of November 2025.
During November alone, Turkish Airlines served 7.4 million passengers, with an international load factor of 84.3% and a domestic load factor of 86.8%.
The number of "international-to-international transfer passengers" surged 18.9%, climbing from 2.4 million in November 2024 to 2.9 million in November 2025.
Cargo and mail throughput also expanded in November, increasing 14.8% compared to the same month last year, reaching 190,700 tons.
