(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was reported by NewsMaker.

With this decision, Moldova aligns with the EU's move to extend temporary protection for Ukrainian refugees until March 4, 2027.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs assured that it remains ready to“provide safe and effective conditions for refugees from Ukraine.” It also stated that it will continue working with local authorities, government agencies, and international partners to deliver humanitarian assistance.

Meanwhile, the Council of Europe stressed that the reasons for temporary protection remain unchanged: the situation in Ukraine is still unstable, with serious security and humanitarian risks. Most displaced persons are currently unable to return home safely.
