Air Defense Forces Destroy 84 Of 110 Russian Drones Used To Attack Ukraine Since Evening

Starting at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 8, the Russians attacked with 110 Shahed and Herbera strike UAVs and other types of drones from the following directions: Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, Prymorsko-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (Russian Federation), temporarily occupied Donetsk, and Hvardiyske (temporarily occupied Crimea), with about 70 of them being Shahed drones.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 9, air defenses shot down/suppressed 84 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Twenty-four strike UAVs were recorded hitting nine locations.

As reported by Ukrinform, part of Sumy and the Sumy region were left without powe as a result of a massive Russian strike on energy infrastructure.
