Kuwaiti Authorities: Drivers Must Abide By Traffic Law During Rainfall

KUWAIT, Dec 9 (KUNA) -- The Interior Ministry said on Tuesday that road users must strictly follow traffic laws during rainfall.
In a press statement, the ministry called on road users and drivers to avoid sudden brakes and keep a safe distance between vehicles.
Abiding by speed limits and avoiding puddles are also essential during the current weather conditions, it added.
It also urged against the use of cellphones while driving, noting that emergency teams were ready to respond via the 112 hotline. (end)
