China Donates US$1 Million And RMB 10 Million In Aid For Sri Lanka
(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) China has announced a contribution of US$1 million in cash to support Sri Lanka's ongoing disaster relief operations, the Chinese Embassy in Colombo confirmed yesterday (4).
In addition to the financial assistance, Beijing has pledged relief supplies valued at RMB 10 million to help communities affected by recent severe weather and flooding.
The Embassy stated that the latest contribution underscores China's continued solidarity with Sri Lanka during this period of recovery, reaffirming that the Chinese people“stand firmly with Sri Lanka” as relief efforts intensify across the island.
