Bomb Threat Forces Indigo's Madinah-Hyderabad Flight To Land In Ahmedabad
While India's IndiGo Airlines battles hundreds of cancellations due to rostering issues on the home front, another crisis seems to have struck one of their international flights. An IndiGo flight from Madinah in Saudi Arabia to Hyderabad was diverted to Ahmedabad on Thursday following a bomb threat, several Indian media reports said.
The flight landed safely at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at Ahmedabad around 12:30pm. All passengers and crew were asked to deboard and a thorough search of the plane was conducted, PTI reported, quoting Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 4) Atul Bansal
