Hotel Chain Debuts Limited-Edition Sleepwear Inspired By Sweet Dreams
In celebration of the love of all things sleep, for the first time ever, Premier Inn is releasing a pyjama range – just in time for Christmas.
The new collection includes designs with the hotel company's moon and stars logo and others that feature sheep, slippers, pillows and alarm clocks in its iconic purple colour.
All the proceeds will be going to charity partner Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity (GOSH Charity) which helps give seriously ill children the best chance, and best childhood, possible.
The collection will be available to purchase at 9am on 4th December here [].
It comes as research of 2,000 Brits found a third of those who wear PJs have up to five 'pyjama days' per month where they spend all day in them.
More than a fifth (22 per cent) of people even go as far as saying their jim-jams are their most worn garments.
While 50 per cent said they 'live' in their nightwear during the winter months and 16 per cent declared them to be their 'favourite outfit'.
And one in five (20per cent) said they put them on the moment they get home.
A further 20 per cent even claimed to put them on by 6pm at the latest over the winter months, to maximise their cosiness.
With almost half of those who wear them (47 per cent) saying their don their PJs by 7.30pm.
A spokesperson for the hotel chain said:“It's official, you heard it here first – the UK is a nation of pyjama lovers with many of us dedicating entire days each month to wearing them and half of us saying we live in our PJs over the winter months.
“Of course, the primary purpose of pyjamas is to have a perfect night's slumber, which perfectly aligns with our way of thinking.
"We help millions of people have a great night's sleep every year - you might even say we're a bit obsessed with it.
“To celebrate, we asked our guests what they most associate with sleep – and have designed an exclusive range of pyjamas featuring all the icons from slippers to sheep that get Brits sleepy – as well as our iconic moon logo.”
The study further found 44 per cent of adults sleep better with pyjamas on, and 24 per cent of enthusiasts 'don't understand' how people can go to bed without them.
While 33 per cent consider their nightwear just for sleeping, 26 per cent reckon it's an essential part of their wardrobe.
The typical respondent owns four pairs – although 26 per cent only buy new ones less than once a year, according to the OnePoll stats.
The spokesperson for Premier Inn added:“There's never a bad time to upgrade your sleep game, and getting into bed in new pyjamas is one of life's great pleasures.
"Guests tell us time and time again that they love our beds and our whole goal is to offer guests a great night's sleep.
“We thought it was a match made in heaven to offer a range of cosy cotton PJs so guests can sink into their bed in even more comfort.
“But they are only going to be available for a limited time, so if you are a superfan and want a pair you'll have to move quickly.”
