The Warsaw court granted the prosecutor's request and ordered the arrest of Ivanov and Kononov for 60 days. They are suspected of carrying out acts of sabotage on Poland's railways. The ruling will take effect after both suspects are detained; they have fled to Belarus.

Poland's Minister-Coordinator of Special Services, Tomasz Siemoniak, stated that the acts of sabotage on the Polish railway were carried out by professionals, not amateurs, and that the plan could have resulted in mass casualties.
