Erdogan receives S. Korean counterpart in welcoming ceremony in Ankara


(MENAFN) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan officially welcomed South Korean President Lee Jae Myung on Monday at the Presidential Complex in Ankara, according to reports.

The ceremony was attended by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar, Trade Minister Omer Bolat, Communications Director Burhanettin Duran, the president’s chief advisor Akif Cagatay Kilic, and other senior officials.

Following the welcoming event, Erdogan and Lee moved on to a bilateral meeting. Afterward, an agreement signing ceremony is scheduled, with both leaders expected to address the media during a joint press conference.
