Saudi Minister says agreements with US reached hundreds of billions


(MENAFN) Saudi Investment Minister Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih announced Wednesday that agreements between Saudi Arabia and the United States have reached a combined value of $557 billion, according to reports.

In an interview with the Saudi Al-Ekhbariya channel, Al-Falih said that 242 investment deals were finalized with the US during the US-Saudi Investment Forum in Washington, DC. “We signed numerous agreements across various sectors to strengthen the partnership between Saudi Arabia and the US,” he said.

Al-Falih emphasized that the US continues to be Saudi Arabia’s largest foreign investor and noted that 2025 is expected to mark a significant moment in deepening economic cooperation between the two nations.

He also highlighted that more than nine decades of Saudi-US relations have had substantial influence on global economic and political dynamics.
