Azerbaijan Set To Host Training For Kazakh Judges Under Expanding Legal Co-Op


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 20.​ Azerbaijani Minister of Justice Farid Ahmadov met with his Kazakh counterpart, Yerlan Sarsembayev, to discuss the expansion of bilateral collaboration, Trend reports via the Ministry of Justice.

During the meeting, both ministers emphasized the strong strategic partnership between the two countries and underscored the importance of continued cooperation. They highlighted the contribution of existing bilateral agreements to strengthening ties and noted the value of mutual legal assistance and the exchange of practical experience based on international conventions. The sides also reiterated their interest in advancing cooperation within the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).

The ministers reviewed opportunities for further collaboration in the enforcement of court decisions, the application of the special enforcement officer system, notary services, digitalization in the justice sector, the use of artificial intelligence, citizen-centered digital solutions, and judicial expertise.

In addition, the sides discussed plans to reinforce institutional cooperation by creating opportunities for judges from Kazakhstan to receive training at the Justice Academy of Azerbaijan.
