Australian VET And Edtech Delegation Participates At Didac India 2025, New Delhi To Strengthen Its Education Ties With India

New Delhi, 18 November 2025: A 35-member Australian Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Edtech delegation representing 24 companies is currently in New Delhi for a week to explore new opportunities for partnership with India's dynamic education and skilling sectors.
The Australian delegation represents a cross section of Registered Training Organisations (RTOs), TAFEs, Non-University Higher Education providers, Audio/ Visual system providers, and Education Management organisations. The Australian delegation will be showcasing their offerings under the Australia pavilion at the Didac India 2025 event in New Delhi scheduled between 18 - 20 November 2025.
The Australian participation is brought together by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) in partnership with Global Victoria, Investment New South Wales and Trade and Investment Queensland.
During the visit, the Australian delegation will connect with Indian government agencies, industry bodies, and education stakeholders across schools and institutions. The delegation will explore potential opportunities to collaborate in designing future ready curricula, leveraging technology for scale and fostering pathways for lifelong learning.
Australia is globally recognised for its industry-driven, practical, and high-quality vocational education and training. Backed by strong regulatory frameworks, flexible delivery models, and deep collaboration between education and industry. Australian providers bring proven capability to deliver scalable, work-integrated learning across both urban and regional contexts. Australia also has a vibrant education technology industry that is developing innovative solutions for all segments of the education sector.
Speaking about the delegation visit, Mr Vik Singh, Trade and Investment Commissioner, Australian Trade and Investment Commission said: "Education is a strong pillar in our bilateral relationship. Australia's strengths in industry-focused vocational education align closely with India's national priorities in skill development, employability, and education reform. Australia will be a natural partner for India in building human capital for the future.
