India-Israel To Hold Talks On Boosting Trade, Investment & Technology Cooperation

(MENAFN- KNN India) New Delhi, Nov 19 (KNN) Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal is scheduled to visit Israel from 20–22 November 2025 to meet Israel's Economy and Industry Minister Nir Barkat, as the two countries continue discussions on strengthening their economic and strategic engagement.

The visit comes amid growing bilateral cooperation in areas such as defence, agriculture, water technologies, and innovation-driven industry engagement.

Goyal will be accompanied by a 60-member business delegation facilitated by CII, FICCI, Assocham and Start-up India, reflecting strong private-sector interest in expanding opportunities within Israel's advanced technology ecosystem.

The visit is expected to reinforce ongoing efforts to deepen commercial ties and support collaborative ventures between Indian and Israeli industries.

During his engagements, the Minister will hold high-level discussions with senior members of the Israeli leadership to explore ways to strengthen trade and investment flows, promote partnership in emerging technologies, and scale cooperation in life sciences, cybersecurity, infrastructure, agri-tech and advanced manufacturing.

Progress on the proposed India–Israel Free Trade Agreement (FTA) is also expected to be reviewed.

As part of the programme, Goyal will participate in the India–Israel Business Forum, which will include plenary sessions, sector-specific discussions and structured B2B meetings aimed at identifying new ventures and boosting investment-led growth.

The fourth edition of the high-level CEOs Forum will also convene, bringing together business leaders from both sides to discuss collaborative opportunities.

The Minister will engage with senior executives from major Israeli companies, visit leading innovation hubs, and interact with members of the Indian community.

The visit is expected to provide fresh momentum to bilateral economic engagement and open new pathways for cooperation in sectors of mutual interest.
