NABU Conducts Searches At Naftogaz Security Director's Premises
“In response to media inquiries, we inform you that NABU detectives, under the procedural guidance of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAPO), conducted searches at the security director of Naftogaz of Ukraine's Gas Supply Company. No individual was detained, and no one has been served a notice of suspicion,” the statement reads.
It is noted that the investigative actions were authorized and carried out in accordance with current legislation.
The Bureau added that its actions are not related to Naftogaz's operations.
NABU refused to disclose further details of the case, citing the secrecy of the pretrial investigation.
Meanwhile, Naftogaz Group stated that“no searches are being conducted in the offices of Naftogaz Group. The information circulated in the media does not correspond to reality.”
“Naftogaz Group fully supports the work of anti-corruption and law enforcement agencies. This applies to all company employees without exception. Should any violations be confirmed, immediate measures will be taken regarding the relevant staff members,” the company emphasized.

According to journalists, the investigative actions may be connected to the so-called“Mindich tapes” and to Brovko's activities in his previous position at the Office of the Prosecutor General.
