Death Toll In Ternopil Following Russian Strike Rises To 25, Including Three Children


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform writes.

“In Ternopil, 25 people, including three children, have been killed as a result of the Russian shelling of the city, while 73 people, including 15 children, have been injured. Fourteen SES psychologists from various regions of Ukraine are working near the damaged building and have already provided assistance to 150 people,” the report states.

Emergency rescue operations are still underway.

“More than 160 rescuers are involved, including high-altitude specialists, dog handlers, the Delta special unit, and around 45 units of SES equipment, including robotic systems. Sappers have inspected the area,” the SES added.

As reported by Ukrinform, at about 7:00 on November 19, Russia attacked Ternopil and the region with strike drones and missiles. Two residential apartment buildings were hit.
