Spokesperson for the State Border Guard Service Andrii Demchenko reported this in a comment to Ukrinform.

“Yesterday, 45 men and five women were processed at the border,” he said.

Demchenko clarified that during processing, border guards attempted to determine the reasons behind the deportation decisions.“Each of them cited different reasons - violations of immigration law and other offenses,” the spokesperson added.

According to him, some of these individuals had documents confirming Ukrainian citizenship, while others possessed return certificates. He explained that this is a document issued when a person is unable to obtain a passport.

Demchenko also noted that earlier, the United States had informed Ukraine, in accordance with international law, of its intention to expel through the territory of Poland several stateless persons originating from Ukraine.
