Russian Combined Strike: In Ternopil, Death Toll Climbs To 16, 64 Wounded
“As of 12:00, 16 people are known to have been killed and 64 wounded, including 14 children. Forty-five people have been rescued,” the report said.
The police noted that enemy strikes damaged industrial and critical infrastructure facilities. The extent of the damage is being clarified.
Police investigative teams, patrol officers, forensic experts, bomb disposal experts, State Emergency Service personnel, and medics are working at the sites of the strikes. Psychologists from the National Police and other relevant services are providing assistance and support to those affected.
Operational headquarters have been established at the two locations most severely affected by the enemy strike, where individuals who have been impacted or are seeking relatives can find assistance. Information about missing persons can be provided here. The National Police's mobile forensic laboratory is also working at the scene, where DNA samples can be submitted to identify other victims.
