Türkiye to Host Inaugural E-Commerce Week in Istanbul

(MENAFN) Türkiye is set to unveil its first-ever "E-Commerce Week" in Istanbul this Friday, aiming to enhance cooperation within the sector, highlight innovative solutions, and broaden the economic and social influence of digital commerce.

The event, organized by the Trade Ministry with backing from the Electronic Commerce Operators Association (ETID) and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), will span two days from Nov. 21-22 at the Istanbul Lutfi Kirdar Congress Center.

This gathering will assemble key participants from across the e-commerce landscape, including marketplaces, SMEs, entrepreneurs, infrastructure providers, and logistics companies, fostering opportunities for collaboration and growth.

"E-Commerce Week" will feature a diverse program of panels, masterclasses, workshops, exhibitions, experience zones, S2B (startup-to-business) meetings, and networking sessions.

The initiative seeks to shape Türkiye’s digital commerce strategy by connecting professionals, investors, academics, public officials, and consumers.

Throughout the two-day schedule, expert speakers will discuss "success stories from Türkiye and abroad," entrepreneurial breakthroughs, AI-driven opportunities, and the impacts of digital transformation, offering insights into the evolving digital economy.
