A meeting was held between Rustam Sherov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Uzbekneftegaz JSC, and Kari Anne H. Kjolaas-Holland, Executive Vice President for Digital Services and Operations at Schlumberger (SLB), a company headquartered in the U.S.
During the discussions, the parties reviewed collaborative projects aimed at modernizing geological databases through the application of artificial intelligence, as well as the development of a GenAI-powered chatbot designed to enhance the efficiency of engineering and analytical processes.
Additionally, the meeting included talks on the establishment of a specialized center for seismic data processing and interpretation. SLB representatives emphasized the company's extensive global experience in establishing and managing such centers, highlighting the opportunity for Uzbekneftegaz to integrate leading international practices.
