Aman Launches Game To Teach Young Children How To Stay Safe

Doha, Qatar: The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (Aman), one of the centers under the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, has launched the interactive digital game“Journey of Safety” in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

The launch coincides with World Children's Day, observed annually on November 20. The inauguration event featured the participation of senior officials, including Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education Omar Abdulaziz Al-Namaa, along with representatives from Aman's partner organizations across various sectors.

A dedicated pavilion for the game has been set up at Qatar Foundation, where it will remain open until Thursday, 20 November. Visits for students from public and private schools are being coordinated to introduce them to the game.

Acting Executive Director of Aman Center Fadel bin Mohammed Al-Kaabi, emphasized that the initiative reflects Aman's commitment to creating engaging and interactive programs for children.

He further highlighted Qatar's strong national direction toward supporting innovation and digital technology, in line with the Third National Development Strategy, which promotes digital transformation as a driver of positive social development.

Al-Kaabi stressed the need for collective efforts from all sectors-particularly education and health-to ensure comprehensive protection for children as the future generation. Director of Community Awareness at Aman Center Bakhita Al-Ghiathin explained that Journey of Safety is an electronic interactive game available through the Qatar Education Platform. Designed for boys and girls aged 4 to 8, the game takes children on a journey through various landmarks in Qatar, presenting safety-related questions and educational messages in an engaging format. She noted that the game aims to enhance children's understanding of social protection, teach them how to stay safe at home and in public places, and develop positive personal skills.

Director of the Communication and Media Office at Aman Hanan Al-Ali outlined the key channels for accessing the game: it is available to all public and private schools via the Qatar Education Platform.
