I hold a Ph.D. in Biology and Ecology of Global Changes (University of Aveiro, Portugal, in collaboration with Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, Germany), a Master's in Environmental Sciences, and a Licentiate in Biological Sciences. Currently, I serve as a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Lúrio University (Mozambique), where I also direct the Master's Programme in Applied Ecology. My research focuses on how natural systems respond to anthropogenic and climatic pressures, aiming to generate actionable knowledge for biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable resource management.
