Elliott Logan is Lecturer in Film, Screen, and Culture at Monash University. His research explores the artistic achievements and significance of film and television fictions. His work to date has focussed on the expressive opportunities of both seriality and screen performance.

Elliott is the author of Breaking Bad and Dignity: Unity and Fragmentation in the Serial Television Drama (Palgrave 2016). His most recent book is Over and Over: Performance, Time, and Resonance in Serial Television Drama (Rutgers University Press, 2026). He is the Associate Editor of the journal SERIES: International Journal of TV Serial Narratives and has published numerous essays of film and television criticism.
