(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 17 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace on Monday Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Pham Minh Chinh, and his accompanying delegation.
An official ceremony was held for the guest, during which the national anthems of the two states were played.
Receiving the guest were First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Shereedah Al-Moursherji, President of the Prime Minister's Diwan Abdulaziz Al-Dakheel, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Al-Yahya, Minister of Commerce and Industry Khalifa Al-Ajil; Minister of Oil Tareq Al-Roumi; and Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Minister of Finance, and Acting Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Dr. Sabeeh Al-Mukhaizeem.
Also present were Advisor at the Prime Minister's Diwan and head of the honorary mission Sheikh Dr. Basel Al-Sabah; Undersecretary of the Prime Minister's Diwan Sheikh Khaled Mohammad Al-Sabah; Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian Affairs Ambassador Sameeh Johar Hayat; Kuwait's Ambassador to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Yousef Al-Sabbagh; along with senior commanders of the Army, Police, National Guard, the Fire Force, as well as senior state officials.
