Ministry Of Public Health Announced As Official Patron Of 3Rd Qatar International Medical Devices & Healthcare Exhibition


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The third edition of the Qatar International Medical Devices & Healthcare Exhibition and Conference (QMED 2026) will be held from May 6–8, 2026, under the patronage of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH), it was announced.
The event, regarded as the largest medical exhibition of its kind in Qatar, is set to take place at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) over an exhibition space of 5,000 sq m..

“The event serves as an interactive platform to strengthen collaboration among healthcare leaders and experts. The event has gained growing attention from professionals, suppliers, and specialists worldwide who will discuss the latest developments, innovations, and best practices shaping the future of healthcare.”
QMED's latest edition is set to welcome more than 1,000 physicians and medical professionals, along with top companies, investors, and healthcare organisations from more than 20 countries.
“We are confident that QMED 2026 will play a major role in driving the growth of Qatar's healthcare industry, building on the government's continuous efforts to enhance the quality of healthcare services,” al-Muhannadi added.
The exhibition is expected to feature participants from the US, the UK, Thailand, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Iran, and India, among others. Exhibiting companies - representing medical equipment manufacturers, healthcare service providers, distributors, and agents - will present their latest products, technologies, and services to Qatar's expanding medical market.
QMED will also serve as a key venue for knowledge exchange, innovation, and collaboration, offering participants a chance to forge new partnerships and explore emerging business opportunities within the healthcare ecosystem.
Al-Muhannadi emphasised that the remarkable achievements of Qatar's healthcare sector over recent years have been a driving force behind organising this important international event, which highlights the country's leadership in medical innovation and service excellence in the region.
The previous two editions of QMED were held under the patronage of MoPH and supported by Qatar Tourism, Qatar Chamber, the Qatar Diabetes Association, and the Qatar Red Crescent, along with strategic sponsorship from Hamad Medical Corporation and the Primary Health Care Corporation. Key partners also included Aspetar, Global Medical Company, Alia Bin Ali, VLCC, MMUSA, and Qatar Free Zones Authority, among others.
Prof Marino Roberto Alzetta, secretary-general of the Italian Chamber of Co-operation and Incentive to Partner of QMED 2026 in Italy and Luxembourg, said:“Our partnership with QMED represents an important step toward fostering scientific, technological, and cultural exchange in healthcare.
