I am a former airline captain with 25 years experience in the aviation industry, now a university lecturer and the Program Director for the Bachelor of Aviation at the University of Southern Queensland. I am also a qualified biological anthropologist / bioarchaeologist, and a PhD candidate linking my interests in biological anthropology and airline safety. My research interests are historic aviation, aviation archaeology, the use of forensic archaeology/anthropology in air accident investigation.
