(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 10 (KUNA) -- The supreme committee for (Visit Kuwait) activities marks a national umbrella for concerted efforts to organize tourism, cultural, and entertainment events within the (Visit Kuwait) platform, said Minister of Information and Culture Monday.
Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, who doubles as Minister of State for Youth Affairs, made the statement after chairing the supreme committee's first meeting held at the ministry's headquarters, according to a press release of the ministry.
The committee's members, including representatives of state institutions, civil society and the private sector, were present at the meeting.
The minister spoke highly of this step as reflecting the ministry's vision of promoting national tourism and highlighting Kuwait's cultural and humanitarian identity as part of Kuwait Vision 2035. (end)
