2 Teenagers Die In Drowning Accident In Mafraq

Amman, Nov 10 (Petra) – Two teenagers of an Arab nationality drowned on Monday in an agricultural pond in Mafraq, the media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate said.
He said the Mafraq Civil Defense operations room was informed that two teenagers, aged 14 and 15, drowned in the six-meter pond in Dufayneh in the??Mafraq Governorate.
Diver responded to the scene, pulled the two children from the pond and transferred them to Mafraq Government Hospital, where they were pronounced dead, said the spokesman.
An investigation will start to determine the cause of the accident, he added.
